This cruse is a 13 night transatlantic from Barcelona, Spain to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The itinerary has only a few ports of call, but they are exciting, historical, and unforgettable. These ports are wrapped around days at sea where you can fully enjoy and explore this amazing floating city.
Our Ship
We will welcome you aboard the beautiful Celebrity Eclipse!
The third of the “Solstice Class” or S-Class Celebrity ships, Eclipse first sailed in 2010. Eclipse is 1,041 feet long and has 13 guest decks with 1,426 total staterooms. The average sailing has 2600 guests serviced by about 1300 crew.
The Itinerary
October 30, 2025 – Barcelona, Spain.
This cruise will be leaving from the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Barcelona in the Catalan region of Spain. You might want to consider spending a couple of days before we leave to see this amazing city, home to the architecture of Anton Gaudi, including the incredible Sagrada Familia. Also here, see the Picasso museum, the Gothic quarter, and the cafes and shops around the Ramblas.
Board the ship in the late morning / early afternoon and spend some time exploring the Eclipse before sail away at 5:00 PM local time.
November 1, 2025 – Lisbon, Portugal
After spending a day at sea sailing around the Iberian peninsula and crossing by the Rock of Gibraltar, our first port of call is the magical city of Lisbon.
November 3, 2025 – Funchal Madeira
Another day at sea, then we reach Madiera, a beautiful island often referred to as “the Hawaii of Europe.” Stunningly stark landscapes and gorgeous modern cities will greet you here.
After we leave here, we’ll be headed back to North America, a crossing whose first part will take 5 days of cruising and enjoying the multitude of activities on the ship.
November 9, 2025 – King’s Wharf, Bermuda
Bermuda is a unique island nation, with fascinating architecture, warm weather and white sand beaches.

November 12, 2025 – Fort Lauderdale, Florida
What's Included
Dining
All guests have complimentary access to the main restaurant, as well as several other dining locations, including an all-day buffet. 24-hour room service is available with offerings depending on the class of service and time of day.
For an additional charge, a classic French restaurant (Murano) and a high-end Italian restaurant (Tuscan Grille) are available. For the adventurous, Le Petit Chef is an animated dinner theater right on your plate. An a la carte sushi restaurant is available as well.
Beverage Package
All guests who book in this group will have a “Classic” beverage package, which provides complimentary drinks up to $10.00. Enjoy a glass of wine with dinner or a fruity umbrella drink by the pool.
An upgrade to “Premium” is available which almost completely removes that restriction so you can take advantage of the craft cocktails from the Martini Bar or a more premium selection of wines at dinner.
In addition to alcoholic drinks (and for those under 21 years old), the beverage packages also cover bottled water, juices, sodas, and specialty coffees.
Wifi
Each guest has the ability to connect one device at a time to the ship’s wifi allowing access to e-mail, social media, etc. Upgrades are available to allow streaming and other more intensive activities.
Activities
Everything from Pickleball to Trivia, Wine tastings to nature and history lectures. Vegas-style extravaganza shows, live music all over the ship at all times, and comedy shows. Learn to dance, join in a flash mob, play a round of ping pong or basketball. Watch a movie on the big screen outdoors. Join in the “Silent Disco”. Oh, and, yes, there are a couple of pools.
There are duty-free shops, a casino, bingo, Deal or No Deal (win a cruise!). Watch a demonstration of glass blowing, or perhaps even join in and create your own piece.
For the young, there are fun enrichment programs structured for ages 3 to 12, plus a teens-only area for those 13-17. The kids can learn to cook, make artistic creations, learn some STEM, and even, you know, have a bit of fun!
Cabins available
Sunset Sky Suite
Measuring 300 square feet with a 79 square foot veranda that looks over the aft end of the ship, the sky suite offers more than just cabin luxury and size, it also opens up the world of The Retreat®.
It starts with your butler. Yes, that’s right, you get a butler with this cabin. They will unpack and pack for you, make up your room the way you like it, arrange your reservations, make recommendations, whatever you need.
You also have access to Luminae. This exclusive restaurant for Suite guests has its own unique menu, but also access to the menus of every other restaurant on board, served with all the elegance you’d expect to find in an establishment that would have a Michelin star if it were on land.
Of course, you have all the access that other non-suite guests have to the rest of the ship, but for your more relaxed days, you’ll be able to camp out in the retreat lounge area nestled on the top decks at the front of the ship.
The Sunset Sky Suite I have allocated for my group is $4101.55 per person for a first and second guests in the cabin. The 3rd and 4th guests in the same cabin are free, so for up to 4 people, this cabin can be yours for a total of $8203.10
Aqua Class
Unique to Celebrity, Aqua Class cabins are designed to provide a fully immersive, next-level wellness experience. Large verandas, upgraded mattresses and a pillow menu are provided. Yet another exclusive restaurant, Blu, is extended only to Aqua Class guests and provides extra healthy options and clean cuisine.
Aqua comes with access to the SEA Thermal Suite, a collection of relaxation and renewal spaces with themes of a Turkish bath, a crystalarium, a salt room, and steam and infrared sauna rooms. You will have access to a spa concierge, preferential rates on spa packages, free access to premium fitness options, in-room bottled water service, and even your own yoga mat for your use while on board.
I have a couple of options for Aqua class, based on location and deck of the ship around $2750 per person. Again, the 3rd and 4th person in the cabin are complimentary, so a total for this cabin would be $5503.10 or $5597.10 for up to 4 people. Each is 192 square feet with a 54 square foot veranda.
Concierge Class
Concierge class is about the little things that help make a vacation special. Daily hors d’oeuvres, binoculars in the room, and early access to boarding, tendering, and debarkation. Access to a concierge to help you plan your excursions.
Concierge class cabins are the same size as Aqua Class (192 square feet with a 54 square foot veranda).
My concierge class cabins are about $2175 per person so a total for up to 4 people would be $4349.10
Veranda
Veranda cabins are the base level of stateroom for someone wanting a balcony. Comfortable and compact, the veranda cabins on the Eclipse are 195 square feet with a 55 square foot balcony. The verandas I have available are about $1900 per person or $3809.10 for up to 4 people
Inside
Because the cabin is just a place to sleep, and most of your day is going to be spent in port, on deck, or participating in the multitudes of activities on the ship, inside cabins provide the most cost-effective way to sail. This class of cabin is 177 square feet with, obviously, no balcony. The rate for this cabin is about $1325 per person, no 3rd or 4th person in the cabin, so the cost for 2 would be $2653.10.
